What it does
Miracle lets you cast a card for its cheaper miracle cost, but only if it's the first card you drew that turn. When you draw it, you reveal it immediately, then you may cast it for the miracle cost during that turn's draw step or main phase, at the appropriate time.
The big nuance: it only works for the first card drawn each turn, and you must reveal it as you draw it—you can't hold it and trigger miracle later. Importantly, "first card drawn" counts across the whole turn, including draws on opponents' turns, so a card drawn off an opponent's effect (like a forced draw) can still miracle if it's genuinely your first draw of that turn. Your normal draw-step draw is the most common trigger.
In Commander, miracle rewards manipulating your draw—cards like Brainstorm or scry let you set up a devastating Terminus or Temporal Mastery for a fraction of the cost.
