What it does
Parley is an Unstable ability where each player—including its controller—reveals the top card of their library. You then get an effect based on how many nonland cards were revealed among all those cards, and afterward everyone draws the card they revealed. So Parley is a group-wide reveal-and-draw that scales with the table size, making it especially swingy in multiplayer.
The biggest nuance: every player draws their revealed card, not just you. That means a Parley card is symmetrical card advantage—you're helping opponents draw too, which matters a lot in Commander where three or four extra cards across the table can be significant. You're trading "fueling everyone" for a powerful effect.
Note Parley originated on Un-set cards, so it's only legal in casual/Un-sanctioned games; most competitive Commander pods won't allow it unless agreed beforehand.
