What it does
Synaptic Disintegrator is a colorless legendary artifact creature (an Eldrazi) from War of the Spark, not actually a keyword. It's a 1/3 with deathtouch, and when it deals combat damage to a player, that player mills a card. If that milled card is a planeswalker, they lose 2 life—a small nod to the set's planeswalker theme.
The most common confusion is treating it as an ability rather than a card. Its trigger only checks the single card put into the graveyard from milling, so the planeswalker bonus is unreliable. Combined with deathtouch, it's primarily a defensive blocker that trades up.
In Commander it's niche—a cheap deathtouch deterrent that chips away at libraries. The mill is too slow to matter as a wincon, but it's a fine early-game artifact body that doesn't die easily in combat.
