Gameplan
Ramp hard with mana rocks and Eldrazi-themed lands to drop Kozilek by turn 6-8, refill your hand off the cast trigger, then beat down with a fattened army of colorless Eldrazi and artifact creatures all wearing the +3/+2 anthem. You play a midrange/ramp big-mana strategy that snowballs once the anthem turns 1/1 tokens and small constructs into real threats.
Strengths
- Cast trigger draws cards even if Kozilek is countered, giving guaranteed card advantage
- +3/+2 to every other colorless creature is a massive, repeatable anthem that ends games fast
- Plays in any color identity since it's colorless, but shines in mono-colorless ramp shells
- Cheap colorless creatures and tokens become enormous threats with the anthem online
Weaknesses
- Nine mana is steep; without strong ramp you arrive late and can stumble early
- Anthem only buffs colorless creatures, so off-color creature picks are dead weight
- Vulnerable to board wipes that erase your buffed army in one shot
- No evasion or protection built in, so a single removal spell on Kozilek can tempo you out

- Eldrazi Temple — Adds extra colorless mana toward Eldrazi, directly ramping into Kozilek.

Upgrade Path
Lean into the dedicated colorless package—All Is Dust and Ugin, the Spirit Dragon as one-sided wraths, plus Eldrazi Monument and overrun effects to push damage. Add fast mana like Mana Vault, Grim Monolith, and the Eldrazi-discount lands to land Kozilek several turns early, and include token doublers or anthem stacking (Cathars' Crusade, Coat of Arms) to make the army overwhelming.
