Gameplan

The Scorpion God grinds out value by sprinkling -1/-1 counters to pick off small creatures and refill your hand whenever a counter-laden creature dies. You play attrition midgame, killing mana dorks, tokens, and X/1s while drawing into your gas, then close with wither/infect synergies, sacrifice loops, or sheer card advantage. The commander is nearly impossible to permanently answer thanks to its built-in recursion.

Strengths

  • Recurring removal and an unkillable commander that always comes back to hand

Improve interaction density with efficient removal and counterspell-like effects, and tighten the curve so the deck can grind and combo rather than purely value-grind into the late game.
