What it does

Landwalk grants evasion: if the defending player controls a land of the named type, the creature with that landwalk can't be blocked at all. Nonbasic landwalk specifically means your opponent must control at least one nonbasic land—any land that isn't a basic Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, or Forest. Given how common nonbasic lands are in Commander, this evasion fires very often. The biggest misconception: landwalk only cares about land types and printedness, not what the land does. A "nonbasic land" is determined by whether it has the basic supertype—dual lands, shocklands, fetchlands, Command Tower, and the like all count. Snow-covered basics still count as basic. Also, the opponent only needs one qualifying land; you don't need to match colors or counts. In multiplayer, landwalk is checked per defending player, so it makes the creature unblockable against whoever you're attacking—usually everyone.
