
Whenever one or more Bards you control attack, choose one —
• Put a lore counter on each of any number of target Sagas you control.
• Creatures you control get +1/+0 until end of turn for each lore counter among Sagas you control.
Deploy cheap, aggressive Bards backed by mono-red Sagas, then attack with Chong and Lily to either rapidly advance your Sagas (squeezing extra chapter triggers and value) or convert accumulated lore counters into a massive team-wide +1/+0 swing. You ramp into Sagas early, build a wide Bard board, and use the attack-trigger pump to push through lethal combat damage in the midgame.
Tighten the curve toward cheap Bards and resilient token producers so the board rebuilds after wipes, and add equipment plus protection (e.g. Lightning Greaves) to keep the commander attacking. Lean into the Saga mode with high-impact mono-red Sagas and recursion to re-trigger chapters, and include reach finishers like Goblin Bombardment so you aren't reliant solely on combat. Improve card flow with red's best impulse draw and treasure-based ramp to overcome mono-color resource limits.
