Affinity for Daleks (This spell costs less to cast for each Dalek you control.)
Other Daleks you control have haste.
At the beginning of combat on your turn, each opponent faces a villainous choice — That player sacrifices a creature of their choice, or you create a 3/3 black Dalek artifact creature token with menace.
Build a wide army of Dalek artifact creatures, cheat out the Emperor cheaply via Affinity, and use the combat-trigger villainous choice to either grind opponents' boards or flood your own with hasty 3/3 menace tokens. You win by attacking with a swarm or converting your token army into damage through aristocrats payoffs.
Affinity for Daleks lets the Emperor land early and even recast cheaply after removal
Every combat is pure value: you either strip an opponent's blocker/key creature or net a 3/3 menace token
Built-in haste anthem for all your other Daleks turns fresh tokens into immediate damage
Plays well as both go-wide tokens and aristocrats, with strong artifact synergy in Rakdos
Seven base mana value means it can be clunky if you have no Daleks to discount it
Board wipes are devastating since the strategy is creature-density dependent
No evasion or protection on the Emperor itself; it's a removal magnet
Villainous choice often lets opponents sacrifice their worst creature, so the punishment is soft against token decks
Doubles every Dalek token the Emperor makes, snowballing your board fast.
Add more free sacrifice outlets (Viscera Seer, Carrion Feeder) and death payoffs (Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat) to make every Dalek that dies count. Improve mana with Treasure generators and fast rocks so the Emperor reliably hits the table by turn four or five, and include token doublers plus a Dictate of Erebos-style edict to weaponize the board. For a higher ceiling, lean into artifact recursion and combo finishes like Goblin Bombardment with a free sacrifice loop.
