Why is this card good?
Dreamroot Cascade is one of the best dual lands available for Simic decks, and it's a near-auto-include in any two-color GU deck or any wedge/shard with green-blue in its identity.
Why it's good: Untapped dual lands matter enormously in Commander, where consistent color access drives your whole game plan. The "two or more other lands" clause means it enters untapped from turn 3 onward — far more forgiving than guildgates or temples. Critically, it's a true Forest/Island in subtype? No — it's not a basic-typed land, which is its one real weakness (no fetching it with Misty Rainforest, etc.).
Who wants it: Any Simic ramp, +1/+1 counters, control, or value commander — Kinnan, Aesi, Tatyova, or any GU partner pair. Three- and four-color decks running green-blue benefit too.
When to skip: If your deck is mono-color, or if you're hard-leaning on fetchlands and basic-land synergies (landfall fetch loops, dual-fetch fixing) where a non-basic untapped land doesn't pull its weight. Otherwise, just play it.
