Why is this card good?

Windfall is a cheap, explosive draw spell that doubles as a key piece in two distinct strategies. In wheel/spellslinger decks, it refills your hand for just three mana — great after dumping your hand fast. Commanders like Niv-Mizzet, Kydele, or any "draw cards = value" engine love it, and it can ambush an opponent who's hoarding a fat grip into a smaller draw. It really shines in wheel-storm and discard-matters builds. Pair it with Nekusar, Notion Thrull synergies, or madness/reanimator shells (Anje, Hollow One enablers) where forcing everyone to discard fuels your graveyard or pings the table. Narset, Hullbreacher, or Notion Thief turn it into a brutal one-sided draw. When NOT to play it: symmetrical card advantage helps opponents too, so avoid it in slow control or value decks lacking payoffs — you're often handing rivals a fresh hand. It's also weak when your hand is already large (you'd discard good cards). Play it where the symmetry is a feature, not a bug.
