Landfall — Whenever a land you control enters, Tam becomes prepared. (While it's prepared, you may cast a copy of its spell. Doing so unprepares it.)
You draw a card and gain 1 life.
Tam is a Simic value engine: flood the board with extra land drops to repeatedly trigger landfall, casting copies of Deep Sight to draw cards and gain life every time a land enters. You ramp aggressively, bury opponents in card advantage, and convert that fuel into big landfall payoffs or a controlling endgame. The deck plays the long game, turning every land into a cantrip.
Add fast mana (Sol Ring, mana dorks) and more extra-land-drop effects (Burgeoning, Mina and Denn, Wayward Swordtooth) so the engine fires multiple times each turn. Layer in tutors and fetchlands plus Crucible of Worlds/Ramunap Excavator for repeatable landfall, and harden your payoffs with protection like Heroic Intervention and counterspell backup to close before the table stabilizes.
