Whenever you gain life, put a +1/+1 counter on MJ.
MJ is a mono-white lifegain Voltron commander: every time you gain life, even incidentally, you load a +1/+1 counter onto her, and vigilance lets her attack while still defending. Early turns you deploy lifegain payoffs and small lifegain triggers to grow her quickly, then push damage through with evasion and protection until she connects for lethal or commander damage.
Snowballs fast with even small, repeatable lifegain triggers thanks to one counter per life-gain event (not per life point)
Vigilance means she pressures opponents and blocks at the same time
Mono-white access to deep protection, board wipes, and recursion keeps her sticky
Cheap 3-mana commander recasts easily after removal
Heavily reliant on a single creature, so targeted removal and board wipes set you back hard
Mono-white struggles with card advantage and interaction outside of white staples
Counters only trigger on lifegain events, so without lifegain enablers she stays small
Vulnerable to evasion-proofing failure: chump blockers and fliers can stonewall ground attacks
