Flying (This creature can't be blocked except by creatures with flying or reach.)
Whenever you gain life, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature you control. It gains indestructible until end of turn. (Damage and effects that say "destroy" don't destroy it.)
Spider-Man turns every lifegain trigger into a +1/+1 counter plus indestructibility, so you stack incremental lifegain effects to grow a resilient board or pile counters onto a single threat. Early turns develop lifegain enablers and ramp, then you snowball counters while Spider-Man (or a chosen attacker) becomes an unkillable evasive threat. You win by going wide with counters, wide-buffing via Spider-Man's flying threat, or assembling a lifegain loop that pumps a creature beyond reach.
Built-in evasion (flying) plus on-demand indestructibility makes it very hard to remove your key creature
Mono-white gives access to the best lifegain payoffs, board wipes, and protection
Each life-gain event is two-for-one value: a permanent counter and a removal-proof shield
Resilient to wraths since you can grant indestructible in response
Only one trigger per life-gain instance, so single big lifegain bursts are inefficient compared to many small triggers
Vulnerable to exile, -X/-X, bounce, and edicts that ignore indestructibility
Mono-white card draw is limited, risking running out of gas
Needs both a steady lifegain engine and creatures to target—can stumble if either half is missing
