Lozhan, Dragons' Legacy

Gameplan

Cast Dragon and Adventure spells to ping creatures, planeswalkers, and players for free while building a board of evasive threats. Use the burn from Lozhan as removal and reach, then close with big dragons or repeated high-cost casts. The deck functions as a midrange burn-control hybrid that turns every spell into a Bolt-on-a-stick.

Key Cards

• Bonecrusher Giant — Adventure side Stomp triggers Lozhan AND is itself a removal spell, then you get a body later.
• Terror of the Peaks — Stacks its own damage trigger with Lozhan whenever you cast Dragons, snowballing burn.
• Scourge of Valkas — Dragon payoff that pings for each Dragon, layering on top of Lozhan's damage.
• Dragonlord's Servant — Cost reducer that lets you cast more Dragons per turn for more triggers.
• Cavern of Souls — Protects your key Dragon casts from counterspells so triggers always resolve.
• Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast — Cheats huge Dragons into play, though note only cast Dragons trigger Lozhan.
• Sarkhan, Fireblood — Ramps and digs specifically toward Dragons while fueling more castings.
• Crucias, Titan of the Waves — An Adventure card that draws and ramps while triggering Lozhan's damage.

Upgrade Path

Add fast mana and rituals (Jeska's Will, Dockside Extortionist, Mana Geyser) to deploy expensive Dragons earlier for bigger triggers, and lean on cost reducers like Dragonlord's Servant and The Ur-Dragon's discount effects. Improve consistency with tutors (Gamble, Mystical Tutor) and protect Lozhan with Cavern of Souls and counter backup. To push toward combo, include ways to repeatedly recur or flicker cheap Dragon/Adventure spells for lethal ping loops.
