The Commander

Gameplan

Pantlaza turns every Dinosaur (and big creature) ETB into a free discover trigger, cascading into impactful spells for value. You ramp into beefy Dinosaurs and reanimation/blink effects to repeatedly trigger discover, snowballing a board of fatties and free spells to beat down or combo off. The deck wants high toughness on cheap-to-cast bodies so discover X hits expensive payoffs.

Upgrade Path

Prioritize high-toughness, cheap-to-cast Dinosaurs so discover X reliably hits your bombs, and add blink/bounce like Restoration Angel and Conjurer's Closet to recur ETBs. Improve the mana with Triomes, fetches, and fast ramp (Three Visits, Nature's Lore, Cultivate) to deploy Pantlaza early and protect it with Heroic Intervention or Lightning Greaves. For higher power, lean on free big creatures and a tutor package (Worldly Tutor, Fierce Empath) to consistently set up explosive discover turns.
