Gameplan
Shalai protects your board and yourself with hexproof, letting you build an unassailable threat base of creatures, planeswalkers, and life total. You ramp into wide or tall boards, leverage Shalai's pump ability to overwhelm, and close games while opponents can't interact with your team. Early turns are ramp and protection, mid-game you flood the board, late-game you swing or combo behind a hexproof wall.
