Cadira, Caller of the Small
The Commander
Trample
Whenever Cadira deals combat damage to a player, for each token you control, create a 1/1 white Rabbit creature token.
Guide
Gameplan
Get Cadira through for combat damage, then exponentially multiply your token board: she creates a 1/1 Rabbit for each token you already control. Build a starting token base early, connect with an evasive/protected Cadira once, and convert the explosion of bodies into a lethal overrun the next turn.
Strengths
- Exponential token generation that snowballs out of control after a single hit
- GW has the best token doublers, anthems, and overrun finishers in the format
- Cheap commander at 3 mana that can come down and attack quickly
- Wide boards play well with sacrifice, convoke, and population themes
Weaknesses
- Requires combat damage to a player, so she's vulnerable to blockers, removal, and Fog effects
- Board wipes erase your entire engine and reset all your invested mana
- Doing nothing the turn she connects (her tokens arrive after combat) telegraphs your kill
- No built-in evasion beyond trample, so she can be chump-blocked or pillow-forted out
Key Cards
- Doubling Season — Doubles every Rabbit Cadira makes, instantly turning a connect into an overwhelming army.
- Parallel Lives — Cheaper token doubler that massively amplifies the Rabbit explosion.
- Craterhoof Behemoth — Premier finisher that turns your token swarm into immediate lethal damage.
- Rogue's Passage — Guarantees Cadira connects through any defenders to trigger the token cascade.
- Shifting Shadow / Whispersilk Cloak — Cheap evasion ensures Cadira lands damage so the engine actually fires.
- Skullclamp — Turns excess 1/1 Rabbits into a relentless card-draw engine.
Upgrade Path
Prioritize cheap, reliable evasion for Cadira (Whispersilk Cloak, Rogue's Passage, Shadowspear) plus protection like Heroic Intervention and Teferi's Protection to survive wipes. Add token doublers (Doubling Season, Anointed Procession, Parallel Lives) and a couple of instant-speed overruns so you can connect and win the same or next turn. Tighten mana with Three Visits, Nature's Lore, and fast green ramp to deploy a token base ahead of curve before swinging.

Win Conditions
- ▸Alpha strike with an overrun effect like Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, or Triumph of the Hordes
- ▸Aristocrats drain via Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Bastion of Remembrance sacrificing tokens
- ▸Anthem-pumped go-wide combat damage with Intangible Virtue, Glorious Anthem, and trample enablers
- ▸Infect/poison kill through Triumph of the Hordes on a huge token board
Archetypes
- Tokens — Her ability literally multiplies your existing token count, rewarding a go-wide shell.
- Aristocrats — Endless Rabbit fodder feeds sacrifice outlets and drain payoffs like Blood Artist.
- +1/+1 Counters / Populate — GW supports counter and populate synergies that scale alongside the token swarm.
- Voltron-lite Combat — Suiting Cadira with evasion and protection to reliably connect is a core line.
